In our last post, we discussed the power of RSS and how it can save you time. Today, I want to talk about how you can capture these RSS feeds in a single location.

To capture these feeds you need some type of aggregator. I personally use Google Reader for my feeds. It is easy to use and integrates nicely with my other Google Apps. If you don’t already have a Google account you may want to consider getting one.

Once you enter Google Reader you will see the following screen:

From here you will view, read and manage all of your RSS feeds. You can add new feeds by simply clicking the “Add a Subscription” button and typing in the URL of your favorite blog. You can subscribe to your favorite newspapers, tv stations or sports teams and read all your news in a single location.

Check out this video on how Google Reader works:

You can organize your RSS feeds into folders for easier reading or you can click on one of many options such as Email the link, Share the link, or my personal favorite Keep Unread.

It’s that simple! One word of caution, remember to check your feeds regularly or they will build up on you.
